Re: [BUYING] ISOMETRIC VIRTUAL WORLD
You probably want to build that out. Also you want AS3 not AS2. Not many people develop in that very much any more and that versions is not even maintained regally by Adobe. And OpenSpace is a great tool to start developing from. Our site: http://www.isointeractive.com Our company white paper: http:...

Re: Requested zone Tris does not exist
I am having a very similar problem. If you restart the server and go in the SFS admin tool I see it. After a while the zones cannot be found again. Also this effects many features of the world. Lots of data storing features stop working. At first I thought it was an update. So I moved from 2.3 to 2....

Is there a SFS2 response time tool?
Hello everyone. I guess this is an easy application but some times we need to test the round trip speed of connecting to SFS2 for various servers. So was wondering if there was an application that does that? Basic login like the SFS Admin but after establishing the connection then have a ping button...

Well there are two ways to really do it. The first is the easiest way but also takes up the most amount of space. 1. Every time there is a chat log for a user it can be saved on the client side. This is good because you can instantly follow the conversation, no parsing needed but not really secure a...

Interesting. have not really use the built in SFS database. The issue is the history is limited. And every user will have to write to the database individually. That is a lot content. I would think that it would be better to record the entire chat log in one place. Maybe dividing it up in to time se...

Best way to save chat logs?
Hello everyone. We have built a number of projects with SmartFoxServer and like to ask others what they think the best way to save chat logs that do not cause major overhead with the servers or databases. Mostly getting opinions on best practices. Many clients want a stored history of the entire cha...

Connecting to MySQL on Seperate Windows server
Hello everyone Just wanted to drop a line as this is a bit of an odd ball. I have a SFS server and a separate hosting server with the database. Need to connect to the database then do a typical secure login. The issue is that the database is a MySQL on a Windows server using MySQL ODBC DSN more spec...
