Re: user_exit not fired

Hi,

As far as I remember it's known behavior (can not find topic, where devs state this). In USER_DISCONNECT there are rooms list, that user was connected upon disconnecting. You should add logic there.

Re: [Feature request] Custom data in events

Does it mean it will be implemented or something like "acknowledged, we will think about it"?

[Feature request] Custom data in events

Hello, I think it's some kind of specific request, however giving it a try :). Event USER_LOGIN has 1 out parameter, called LOGIN_OUT_DATA . It would be really great, if other events, like USER_LEAVE_ROOM has similar param. It will allow to embed application logic in sfs events and save time, save s...

What do you mean saying "timer"? AFAIK all time-based tasks should be done with task scheduler

Re: log viewer throws exception

Is there any option to reverse log order by time? I mean is it possible to show newest log entries at the top of list?

Lapo, cool feature, haven't seen it before. I've tried using embedded Jetty (http://127.0.0.1/example/) and got following exception: HTTP ERROR 500 Problem accessing /example/. Reason: INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR Caused by: Traceback (innermost last): File "/home/smartfox/SFS2X/www/example/in...

Exceptions in scheduler

After long debugging found out, that if uncaught exception is thrown in scheduler it will be muted (not shown in logs, at least for WARN threshold) and scheduler won't launch any more. I think it's worth mentioning somewhere in docs, that extension is responsible for exceptions in scheduler. Thanks,...

I use custom implementation of objects serialization and in my case it's possible. Consider following code: public enum Gender implements SmartfoxData { MALE(0, "Male"), FEMALE(1, "Female"); private final int value; private final String description; public st...

SFSDataWrapper multi-thread safe?

Hello, I need to serialize and transfer enums from server to client. Chose to use sfsdatawrapper to encapsulate real type beneath. As enums are always final is it safe to use the same sfsdatawrapper for different requests in different threads with possibility to be serialized in several different th...

No, it's not possible without customization.
In our project we use user variables as avatar position, because user variables are public and automatically propagated by smartfox to other users in the room.
