I have been programming games since back in the days of DirectX 6 starting in 1998. I have been creating games professionally since 2000. Having 2 games released on the shelv...

Starting new Project... where to start?

I am starting a MMOG where players will have extensive avatar customization, multiple animation states (digging, sitting, walking, idle). I will also have the need for persistant deformation of the world where people can build houses. Is this something that can be done with SFS and OpenSpace Engine ...

Silverlight support for SFS and OpenSpace Engine?

How mature is the Silverlight API for SFS?

Is OpenSpace Engine only a flash/AS3/FLEX api or can it be used with Silverlight?

Thanks,

I am a little embarrased. I was able to get the admin tool working with SFSX2, but not with SFS 1.6.9.

canyouseeme.org can correctly see 184.168.65.119:9339.

How do I configure my SWF file to point to 184.168.65.119:9339?

I have a dedicated windows server running the Smart Fox Server 1.6.9. How do I connect to any example or the admin tool from outside of that box? SFS is set to listen on all server addresses with the default port 9339. I can see the intro page here: http://184.168.65.119:8080/ But non of the example...

MS SQL Server 2008 R2

I have SFSX2 up and running on my Windows Server 2008 dedicated server. Where can I find a tutorial or resource on how to get SFS to integrate with MS SQL Server? I believe I will need the Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Drive 3.0? http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=a737000d-68d0-...
