Re: Marmalade support?

Hi

I was wondering if you had heard anything further? Marmalade support would definitely be a deciding factor for us using smartfox server for an upcoming project

Is there a problem with the documentation site?

http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/ always times out for me. All other pages are loading ok

Anyone else experiencing this?

Openspace for iOS?

Is there any plans to produce a similar platform for iOS rather than just flash? Would love it if there was!

AutoRemove Room with an NPC in it

Often we have an NPC in our rooms, it would be good if the room was destroyed when all users left but at the moment that doesn't happen because there is an NPC in the room. Is there some way using the existing API to do this or will we need to implement a custom solution for this? Would switching an...

SFS2 testing license

With smartfox 1 it was possible to buy testing licenses that allowed unlimited number of users to connect from within the local network which could be used for load testing etc.

Is it possible to buy these same sort of licenses for SFS2 and if so how much are they?

OpenSpace trying to leave a room a user isn't connected to

Hi I'm using OpenSpace 2 & SFS2x and have come across an issue where it appears that in a server extension that extends openspace and I try to use the sendAvatarToMap I get an error to say that the user can't be found in a room that it was previously connected to but is no longer. The work flow ...

Slight error in docs re BuddyLists possibly

I noticed on the details about buddy lists (http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/AdvancedTopics/buddy-list-api) that there is a paragraph at the bottom that says You will be able to provide your custom implementation by simply dropping your .jar file in the SFS2X lib/ folder and providing the fully qual...

Best approach to creating rooms on the fly

I have a question about the best way to deal with what I imagine must be a fairly common scenario. We are using open space and we have a map with a few different locations. When a user clicks on one they enter the location, let's say a coffee shop, and can see the other players in there. Visually an...

Hi Silvertip I've managed to get SFS working with Spring, although I'm not sure if our approach will satisfy your requirements, I can run you through it in case it helps. Firstly we have our project split into Business Logic Modules and Extensions, a BLM may be used by multiple extensions and as a r...
