Re: Clean install
No worries...I did a grep search and found the ini and jetty configs. Updated them to 9000 and all is good.

Re: Clean install
Hi Lapo,
That's correct, I do have a service running on port 8080 - I had been checking port 9933 Is there a config somewhere that I can change the Smartfox port to something other than 8080
Many thanks

Re: Older HTML5 client API that matches TS definitions
I figured out that it was v1.7.1 but I'd assumed you would know the version of APIs.

Re: [NEW] API v1.7.11 released
Hey, thanks for the info, As far as I can tell, these definitions were from 1.7.1 - I have already been successfully testing them with Bridge.Net, but of course, it would be better to have the latest definitions. I have already sent a GitHub request to the Retyped group so hopefully that will result...

Older HTML5 client API that matches TS definitions
I am trying to find an old client API that follows the TS definitions found at: https://www.nuget.org/packages/Retyped.smart-fox-server/0.1.6733 The TS doesn't include any versioning and I can't find previous releases anywhere. I looked on npm but they don't seem to go back far enough and when I do ...

$100 for clear demo of real world setup
The FPS Unity example provides a client example with a World, however I can't understand how this can pertain to Rooms. Nor can I understand if I were to make a real game, would that World create Rooms? Or would rooms somehow have a World assigned to it?! None of the example provide a full use case ...

Re: Basic Extension Causing Crash - Win7
OK, I build against JDK 1.7 and it's working, but the issue was masked with both web caches (client giving me errors about connectivity to the server after using restart in the admin interface) and also the IDEs own clean/build procedure (outside of SFS control). Anyway, hope that helps. Please let ...

Re: Basic Extension Causing Crash - Win7
Think I may of found the problem, in a foray of caching problems that are not resolved with an uninstall, I think I have narrowed it down to the following Exception: UnsupportedClassVersionError Unsupported major.minor version 52.0 So, my question is, what version of Java are we supposed to compile ...

Basic Extension Causing Crash - Win7
Does anything actually work with the latest versions of SFS? First of all, I created the most basic possible Java extension added a Zone and room, and added the extension. It causes the server to crash on startup: http://www.smartfoxserver.com/forums/download/file.php?id=393 Capture001.PNG I went t...

Smartfox unable to see Hibernate annotated classes
I've been banging my head against a wall but finally understand a problem that I've been trying to figure out all day. I've been trying to get my custom extension to include Hibernate in order to do the usual database things. I have an annotated Java bean class which I've included in the source of m...
