Hi BigFish, Thanks for your reply :D It makes perfect sense that the exception thrown and printed in the log is due to misconfiguration of Bluebox. (btw. anyone knows where I can find a thorough documentation of how to configure Bluebox?) But I realize that the problem that I address is not the Blue...

Strange connectivity failure

Hi guys, We are struggling with a strange connectivity issue in SmartFoxServer. We have a test pc from which our game client is unable to connect to our SFS. It fails without any error on the client. On the server, however, we get this: Configuration: - Smartfox version 1.6.8 - Flash player version:...

Re: Avatar is stuck on a tile

Ok. Thanks for your time Bax.
We'll upgrade to version 2 then.

Cheers :)

3. Actually that is not a path miscalculation, but a wrong behavior when checking on which tile the avatar is currently moving during the animation. Anyway this issue was fixed in OpenSpace 2.0.

Avatar is stuck on a tile

Greetings all, We have a problem with stuck avatars accompanied by this exception being thrown: ## [Tweener] Error: [object Avatar] raised an error while executing the 'onComplete'handler. TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference. at com.smartfoxserver.op...

Ok ... problem solved. And as very often there is a simple answer. Don't run "openspace.initialize()" twice. So for anyone else that might experience the red backdrop - do as the documentation says about "function initialize()". :) This method should be called only once per appli...

Hi sstark, I have the same problem. Red screen shows up in the transition between first and second map. Haven't tried a third map yet. The red screen does not appear before map number one. Removing the background in map two results in the red screen staying. I'm curious. Did you find a solution?

Thanks Bax,

I knew the solution had to be simple. Sorry for being that stupid. :/
Am I then correct in presuming that the editor is prepared for setting a tile specific id-reference in the next version of Openspace? (Would be a rather cool feature) :)

Thanks for the reply Krazl. But I'm afraid that it's not the answer to my problem. The problem is in the export of the map from the Openspace editor. When opening the exported map xml-file in a text editor I would expect to find something similar to: <skin className="SensorE" objectId=&quo...

Hi Paolo, I have the same problem. "objectId" doesn't appear in the xml when exporting a map. I simply can't figure out why. Here's what I do: - In the map editor, I select a walkable tile - Open the panel for "Tile instance properties" - Set the input field "Name" to &...
