Re: Logs not getting printed for 12 seconds

Hi, if the requests accumulate in the Extension's queue, you will experience delays in user response times and also in things like logs etc... When this happens you should look into your code and check what slow operations you're running. By slow operations we mean any calls that wait for something ...

Re: is room.getAllUsers() broken ?

The method returns a Java array, not a collection. Java arrays don't expose a method called size()
To obtain the size of the array you can check the array.length property, like in Javascript.

Hope it helps

Re: is room.getAllUsers() broken ?

Hi,
Room.getAllUsers() returns an User[], in other words an array with User objects in it.

It's not clear what the problem are you having or what you're expecting instead.
Can you clarify?

Thanks.

Re: Changing room owner

I am just being curious here, but what is the purpose of the public method named "setOwner" inside the Room class if not changing the owner? To set the owner ;) At Room creation time. As per our docs, methods that are not documented in the javadocs are for internal use only. The day that ...

Re: Changing room owner

I think a less condescending tone would help the discussion, but that's just me :) Room objects support custom properties. You can attach any value via getProperty()/setProperty() So it doesn't take much coding (namely one line) to store the owner of the game in those properties and then apply your ...

Re: "Session does not support encryption" when reconnecting

Hi, you said the problem happens when the client attempt to reconnect after being kicked, so I assume there's no problem upon first connection/login. If that's the case I suspect you're not creating a new SmartFox object after the disconnection. When you get disconnected you should release the previ...

Re: Guide: How to compile a .jar file for your extension

Yes, that's correct. Just change the compliance so that your code is compatible with Java 8 and you should be fine.

Re: get ban list

Before you do that, try this instead:

Code: Select all

var bannedUsers = _server.instance.getBanList()

the _server.instance object points to the actual Java class that exposes the method.

Re: Guide: How to compile a .jar file for your extension

Can you run the server from the terminal/prompt as I mentioned before?
Just to see if there's any extra information.

Also what SFS2X version are you running?
How big is the jar file you're using for the Extension?

Thanks

Re: get ban list

You're right, this is not accessible via javascript, only Java.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Haven't used SFS PRO in a long time.
