Great news. Can hardly wait for release. I think that you people at SFS have done a great job of maintaining the current platform while continuing to look toward the future of interactive services. With the new SFS2X, has there been any consideration to backwards compatibility for current Java exten...

eyal - I would try to hard-code the query first to determine if it is actually getting the datarow correctly. String sql = "select * from users where username = 'Mike'"; ArrayList<DataRow> arrayList = dbManager.executeQuery(sql); If that returns your expected results, one-by-one st...

If you select the Download the tutorials link you will find the example files for both Flash AS3 and Flex versions. As for a written tutorial using AS3, I have not seen one. So it would require either reviewing the example files to get an understanding of how it is set up, or converting the AS2 writ...

From what I have read, the AS API uses the DATAROW_STRINGKEY which is why by default you are able to .getItem(<STRING>). Where you are using AS instead of JAVA API, you may need to use the jdbc connection to iterate through the DATACOLUMN. ( Example 3 : Example using getConnection() and JDBC APIs ) ...

Although it may not be a full demonstration, the section in the docs on Extension Interoperability may prove to be helpful.

You can see an example of handleInternalRequest in section 6.11 of the user docs online.
(6.11 Extension Interoperability)

Hope this helps,

Vishwas - The "force login" option allows you to login to the server even if your user is already seen logged in. Smartfox Server can sometime fail to see a lost session or disconnect by the client and will see the user as still logged in. By using this option, you can tell the server to l...

Re: create NPC error

I am having the same issue with the "NPC creation failed, due to I/O error. Local socket connection failed.". Normally this is because SmartFoxServer is not finished coming up yet. If you are using PRO 1.6.5 or newer, there is a new server side event called " serverReady ". This...

Yes. But how long do you want it? To last until the server restarts, you would need to have an extension create the room with server as owner. If you need it to persist after server restarts, you would need to add database integration to the extension so that when the server restarts it will build a...

You may find that the more time consuming part is not the actual login, but the connection.
Is there any way that you can call the connect before passing the login information?

Not sure how that would work using PHP, but it works well with Flash.
