about the config.xml i'd recommend maybe a seperate editor for each part of the the config saved and loaded from an xml but displayed in a tree like mode where you can close and open the branches...

i dont know if in director its the same api as in flash but the main logic is this:

1. connect to the sfs server
2. login to a zone
3. join the default "lobby" room
4. chat or go to other rooms to chat (same interface if its chat only)

hi, is it possiable to see users chat in the admin consol? or should i put this in the wish list? i tought it could be fun for admins to be able to talk to users in specific rooms without entering the room physically but by using the admin tool. so is it possiable? edit: i just tought of another use...

im asking this because when i try to run it at port 80 or 8080 it says that the port is in use. the machine has a webserver running with few sites as well as the smartfox server.

then you can do a simple thing.

either when a user login he gets the names of the admins and then on the private msgs match and use diffarent method to show.

or you can use a diffarent methow to show the msgs but instead of using onprivate msg you can use on mod msg or on admin msg.

i think the problem is that the ports are not open on the machine (server) for all users...

what i mean is use whatever system you got for private msg or create another one just for admin msgs and just send the private msg to the admin ID

i think you can make a room or some kind of variable with the mod user ID when he logs in the server he gets a new id and set it as a variable at the server.

then when a user needs a mod he just ask for the mod's userId and then private messege him.
