BAD NAME - Redbox Video Issue

Postby stuhow » 07 Oct 2014, 16:18

Hi,

We have tried to implment RedBox in our app. We get a conenction and the request is sent to the other player received. However once we try an use the NetStream we get the following error:

Unhandled NetStatusEvent:. level=error, code=NetStream.Publish.BadName

We were wondering if anybody else had seen this and what the fix could be please.

Cheers

We never encountered this error in our testing.
It seems to be a connection dropped issue: http://helpx.adobe.com/adobe-media-serv ... rrors.html

Yes, we discovered the problem. We were starting a chat request with ourselves and when accepted it was firing to chat start events and the second triggered the bad name. That said we still can't see the video yet. We attach the stream and add it to the stage but nothing is seen. We have tried attachCamera and that all works fine but not from the stream so any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Are you sure the Flash Player is configured? Right-click on the SWF in the browser and go to the settings and then the camera settings. Is the right camera selected?
Also, did you check one of our examples? They should work as expected.
