Hi,
does this happen in the browser or using a standalone flash player?
If in the browser, which browser please?

Thanks

Hi,
we have tested with Chrome too, as it always keeps the Flash Player updated. We tried from Mac OS and WIndows without any issues.

Is your server online? If so can you send me the IP address? You can do it via private message.

Thanks

Hi guys

I have the same problem. Since the last Google Chrome update and Flash Player I cannot connect through socket anymore only through BLUEBOX. These 4 days all my users went from 80% of connections through socket to 10%.
This happened progressively, I supposed that little by little they updated. We haven`t made any change in our sever, it`s running during 2 months non-stop.

Hi,
it is still not clear what's going on. For example our online demos work just fine with the latest FP (24.0.0.186) in both Chrome and Firefox.

Yet another customer is not able to connect with the AdminTool with FP 24, while all previous FPs didn't have the problem.
It looks like Adobe might have broken something in the crossdomain policy mechanism of the Flash Player, or they have changed something without giving notice.

If it's a change in the internals of the FP it's not going easy for us to find out what it is :(

Somebody has reported that opening TCP port 843 on SFS2X (by adding an extra port listener) has solved their problem. Port 843 is used by the FP for the "master socket policy". Typically you don't need to open this extra port.

If you want to try keep in mind that port 843 requires root privileges, so if your server runs Linux you will need to be root to bind SFS2X to port 843. Also, you may need to add a rule in your firewall to allow traffic on that port as well.

Let us know if this helps.

UPDATE:
It is indeed an issue with the latest Flash Player. Adobe is already working on it, apparently:
