Use SSL or not?

1) Is SSL useful to use it in a mobile videogame?
2) Do it use more bandwidth than normal?
3) A disadvantage could be slowing down the connections client-server?
4) What it is safe?

It can be. It provides an extra layer of protection. People trying to reverse engineer the traffic to understand how to cheat in the game will have a much much harder time.

A little bit. But it's not going to make much of an impact.

No. It doesn't slow down the connection.

4) What it is safe?

I don't understand the question. Can you rephrase it?
