Hi,
I use sfs2x 2.9.0 windows version for server framework.
I put my zone extension in SFS2X\extensions\somezone\somezone.jar
When I start server and log in with Admin tool.
I can see my zone in Zone Configurator.
But when I click [Zone Extension] tab, I see no zone in [ Name ] drop down list ..
So I can't add zone extension to my zone....
My development environment:
jdk 1.7 (32bit)
sfs2x 2.9.0 (32bit)
eclipse 4.4.2 (32bit)
I can set extension by editing somezone.xml
but if I log into admin tool I can't see that extension ...
anyone knows this problem....
thanks for help
extension missing in admin tool
extension missing in admin tool

Re: extension missing in admin tool
Hi,
just to be clear the name of the Extension folder does not need to match the Zone name.
About your problem. There is a convention that requires your jar file to be called [something]Extension.jar so that the system can recognize the extension jar from other jar files, such as libraries etc...
From the documentation:
If JAVA is selected in the Type dropdown, all jar files contained in the Extension's folder are processed, provided their name ends with 'Extension.jar' (for example 'MyExtension.jar'); all other jar files are skipped. This is required to avoid receiving useless data (like the list of classes contained in library jar files).
http://docs2x.smartfoxserver.com/Gettin ... rator-zone (see the Zone Extension tab section)
In other words if your game is called "SpaceGame" just call your jar file SpaceGameExtension.jar, for example.
cheers
