Re: SFS2X with Webpack

You are right, we are including the DataStream library directly, so it seems we can comment its last lines.
If you contact us by email, we can send you a pre-release version you can test.

Re: SFS2X with Webpack

It is really difficult to understand what is going on. The reason is that we don't have direct control over the code output, because our source code goes through a number of steps (including Babel and more) which build the final API. In fact the code you are showing is nowhere in our source code.

Re: SFS2X with Webpack

From a very fast search in Google I got this link, where it seems they address how to deal with standalone libraries like our API:
https://webpack.github.io/docs/library- ... rnals.html
It refers to the older version of webpack, but maybe they have a similar mechanism in the newer one.

Re: SFS2X with Webpack

I'm not familiar with webpack, but... why don't you go the easy way by just importing the API JS file in your main HTML file?
Quick and easy and immediately working... or at least it should, unless webpack interferes in other ways.

Re: Unity WebGL - SFS 2.13 - WebSockets disconnect

I wasn't referring to a specific case, because it is very hard to follow what your Extension does. In any case we are not sure of the consequences of stopping a thread abruptly. There's a chance that some garbage remains in Jetty (which takes care of websocket communication) and when you send the ne...

Re: Unity WebGL - SFS 2.13 - WebSockets disconnect

I've noticed that you cancel the scheduled task like this:

Code: Select all

loop.cancel(true);

(in CRoom.cancelGame method)

Did you try not to halt the thread abruptly, passing false instead of true to the cancel method?

Re: Unity WebGL - SFS 2.13 - WebSockets disconnect

We are still investigating, but it seems the error occurs at a very low level of the WebSocket. Can you please clarify why, in both screenshots you sent, the outgoing message is duplicate? Also, could you send the text version of that log? One more thing.. did you try to change the start message, fo...

Re: Unity WebGL - SFS 2.13 - WebSockets disconnect

What client API version are you using? (previously you wrote 2.13, but that's not the API numbering)
Also, does the issue occurs in the Unity Editor in WebGL mode only, or in the browser too, after building the project for WebGL?

Re: Suggestions for the new javascript api

Recently we investigated the request to add a definitions file to our API, but we couldn't locate tools to generate it automatically.
We don0t know who created the file you linked, or how it was created.

Re: addEventListener scope parameter

I'm sorry but we don't support specific frameworks. Our API is supposed to be as generic as possible, so everybody can use it with a little or no effort.
As it regards the type definitions, see the other post.

Re: addEventListener scope parameter

First of all, you are looking at the documentation of an older version of the JavaScript API. If you are using SmartFoxServer 2X v2.13 (or later), you should use the API tagged as "w/ binary protocol", available here: http://www.smartfoxserver.com/download/sfs2x#p=client The updated doc fo...

Re: Upgrade Licence

1. As the release notes says, you can make SFS reload the license at runtime, without the need of restarting it. 2. After you get the upgrade confirmation email, you have to go to the AdminTool's License Manager module and click the "Reload license" button. You can place your order to upgr...

Re: SFSDataSerializer is not exposed for use

I'm sorry, but those methods can't be exposed, because you are not supposed to use them.
Can you describe you use case scenario?
Also, where did you find those links? If they appear somewhere in the documentation, we should remove them.
Thanks.

Re: SFS Room userCount function return not correct.

We can't reproduce this issue. We tested a modified version of the current AdvancedChat example, in which we added support to Room Groups (we can send it to you too, if you drop us an email). These are the steps: 1) we configured the BasicExamples Zone with 3 public Groups ("default", &quo...

Re: Unity WebGL - SFS 2.13 - WebSockets disconnect

Would you be able to provide a test project showing the issue?
That would be very useful as we can't reproduce it.
